Diplaxmi Kitchen Store
Kitchen retail · Chandragiri, Nepal · Ecommerce
An online storefront for Diplaxmi Kitchen Store, a physical kitchen-products shop in Chandragiri, Nepal. The site puts ten categories of kitchen essentials and home appliances online while keeping the shop's local advantage intact: customers can order for delivery or reserve and collect in store, and can check out as a guest without creating an account.

The problem
Diplaxmi Kitchen Store sells practical kitchen essentials and home appliances from a shop in Chandragiri. Its advantage over an online-only seller is proximity — the customer can see the appliance and take it home the same day — so a website that only offered delivery would trade that away. A second risk was friction: a shop whose customers walk in without introducing themselves cannot ask for an account before a purchase. And the range is wide and technical, from gas stoves to geysers, so browsing had to work for a customer who does not know the product name they are looking for.
Our approach
We built the site around the choice the shop already offers in person. Order online for delivery, or reserve and pick up in store — stated as a choice rather than discovered at checkout — and ordering as a guest is supported throughout, with accounts, a wishlist and order history there for customers who want them. Browsing runs on three routes at once: ten named categories, a search box with a category selector, and brand pages, so the specific and the undecided customer both arrive. Combo sets, new arrivals and featured listings carry the merchandising. Store information, pickup and delivery, cancellation, privacy and terms pages state how the shop operates, and a skip-to-main-content link keeps keyboard navigation direct.
The outcome
Diplaxmi Kitchen Store is live at diplaxmikitchen.store. The published site carries the catalogue across ten categories with search, brand and combo-set browsing, a wishlist and cart, customer accounts with order history, guest ordering, and store pickup alongside delivery. The shop's own details are on the site: Chandragiri 44600, phone 981-8579292, open every day 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM with online orders taken 24/7.
Keeping the shop in the shop
The most valuable thing Diplaxmi has is a physical counter twenty minutes away. Store pickup is therefore a first-class option rather than a checkout footnote, and a pickup and delivery policy page states plainly how each works. The website extends the shop; it does not replace it.
No account required
Guest ordering means a customer who wants one pressure cooker is never asked to register first. Accounts still exist — with a wishlist and order history — for repeat customers who want their details remembered, but they are an option rather than a gate.
Three ways to find a product
The catalogue is reachable by category (gas stoves, rice cookers, mixer grinders, pressure cookers, cookware, electric kettles, air fryers, water dispensers, kitchen appliances, and geysers and water heaters), by search with a category selector attached, and by brand. Combo sets, new arrivals and featured listings sit on top for customers browsing rather than hunting.
Plain about how it works
Store information, pickup and delivery, cancellation, privacy and terms pages carry the shop's actual operating detail — the Chandragiri address, the 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily hours, the phone number and email — so a customer never has to guess. A skip-to-main-content link keeps the header out of the way for keyboard and screen-reader users.
